MCDBA on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Certification
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 candidates need to pass three core exams and one elective exam. These exams provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise in the implementation and administration of Microsoft SQL Server databases. MCDBAs on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 are not required to pass Windows Server 2003 exams to retain MCDBA certification. The Microsoft Windows 2000 Server exams and the Windows Server 2003 exams for the MCDBA on SQL Server 2000 certification remain available concurrently. Candidates who administer develop or analyze Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases should consider the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) credentials.
